Equity Summit (Biennial)

The Equity Summit is a one-day experience featuring various scholars and practitioners in social justice and equity. Six of the scholars deliver “Equity Talks” and six participate in plenary sessions while the last speaker delivers a keynote address. The event attracts over 500 educators and social justice advocates from across the nation.

Executive Equity Roundtable (Biennial)

The Executive Equity Roundtable is a highly interactive remote program event experience for current and newly appointed Chancellors, Presidents, Superintendents, and their respective cabinet members. The Executive Roundtable features former and current college executive leadership and other subject-matter experts offering insights, techniques, best practices, and coaching rooted in advancing and implementing equity and closing the obligation gap.

Equity Academies (2 Per Calendar Year)

The Equity Academies are professional development opportunities for leaders to immerse themselves into themed, multi-day experiences introducing participants to baseline concepts, interrogating data and mapping implementation strategy for participants to implore the equity-centered work at their respective institutions. Institutions will register as “teams” and work collaboratively throughout the academy to develop the best solution for their institution.

Equity Master Class (Annual)

The Equity Master Class series is for equity-advancing advocates of varying experience levels within community colleges across the nation. Public and private partners of educational institutions are encouraged to attend to gain insights into the dimensions and dynamics of equity-advancing work for future collaboration. Subject-matter experts will share their equity-advancing journey and provide meaningful insights for effectively and strategically engaging in, implementing, and sustaining equity-advancing work.
